My PC Flight Simulator setup – Saitek Pro Flight yoke and Saitek X52 [HD 720p]
This is my flight simulator setup for my PC. Filmed with my new videocamera: Samsung HMX-H100. (720/50p) Edited with: Sony Vegas studio 9 The saitek pro flight yoke system is a combination of the flight yoke and the throttle quadrant. Its not from ultra high quality but it is the best one you can get at the moment. I also bought the rudder pedals. These are pretty expensive but in my opinion you just need them. I had bought the Saitek X52 flight system a long time before the saitek pro flight yoke and pedals but i can stil use it for the throttle and extra buttons. I still use the joystick for helicopters, sportplanes and fighterjets. The Saitek X52 is a really good product. its high quality and has a lot of functions. With the products you will get a software CD. I didn’t test this software because people were saying it was not that good and the systems works without it. I haven’t got any problem with the systems so far. After buying my G19 keyboard i could still use my Dell keyboard. When sitting behind the yoke its hard to reach the G19 on the table. So, to give a real cockpit feeling i dicided to drill two holes in the back of my Dell keyboard and hung it above my head. Now i can easily remove and attach the keyboard. I have to say, if you have the ability to do this. try it, it is worth it. Trackir 5 is the fifth version of trackir. Its a head tracking device. it can be used for flight simulators, racegames and some first person shooters. if you want to see what it …

Paint Flight Simulator Yoke
www.rogerdodger.net A little spray paint can make a big improvement to your home made flight simulator cockpit. Here we see the CH Products yoke and throttle quadrant with the DIY Universal Airliner cockpit enclosure for a home made flight simulator (we’re using FSX). The airplane controls are a dark charcoal gray color that contrast with the light gray of everything else. The solution: we paint the throttle quadrant and the base of the yoke control so they blend in better with the table and the enclosure. This is an easy, quick do-it-yourself (DIY) project.
