Flight simulator X gold is a game that has been given mixed reviews. Some people have positive things to say about it, while others have mixed ideas about how they feel. The common trait among everyone`s opinion is that the game itself is great it`s just its poor performance that has some frowning.The actual game itself is amazing. The graphics and the detail in the actual world in the game are unbelievable and will have even the biggest critiques dropping their jaws. The game allows you to fly all over the world and the detail in every which direction are immaculate in representing every little thing.When you`re flying a plane you can look down and see people walking around or cars moving about, and it`s all relevant to what is happening at the time. For example if you are flying through an airport, the people down below are scurrying around with luggage and taxi`s, where as if you were flying over water you would see people in boats and water ski`s. The detail in the game makes people feel like they would if they were actually flying a plane in the skies.During the game you have to conquer missions and achieve certain goals. As you do, you earn rewards and can even pick up souvenirs as you go along. There are adding on scenarios and even a multiplayer option where you can share the sky with others or serve as a passenger to them or vice versa.You also have the ability to fly in various weather conditions for optimal flight training. You can pick things such as precipitation, density, turbulence, ice, cloud types, wind, and altitude giving yourself lots of challenges as you pursue through the game.The game allows you to design a flight plan, check the weather, complete a flight check, follow air traffic controllers and be assigned new ones as you pass through different regions. The fact that the game allows you to do exactly what a real pilot does is a great experience for gamers.In free play mode you can fly around the world and visit over 24,000 airports. While you`re flying you can check out what is happening as far as weather and in general with the people that live in various countries. The game is credited for being as accurate as it is for every detail which could be thought up.For the gamers who found the performance too slow to manage properly urged people to buy the deluxe version that comes with fifty missions. They also say to get a dual processor to handle the frame issues. A standard game will allow you to do over thirty missions but the framing time is too slow for many.This game did two things; it provided people with an awesome game with amazing detail and opportunities, and it also gave out headaches as people struggled with the performance. It would seem that it is a tossup between good and evil. Some are waiting for better versions to come out before they even attempt the game in fear of the ultimate disappointment, while others are playing it and loving it even with all its flaws. For people like that, they can only see the good and probably can`t wait for a sequel to come out.

Its very difficult to install and get configurated to even start playing, but I do my best to at least show you through a tutorial mission of launching the Space Shuttle.
