FlightProSim is a full feature flight simulator, you can choose from over 100 planes, gliders and helicopters.
Planes you can fly range from the 1903 Wright Flyer to the current day, here’s just a few examples:- Boeing 747 , Airbus A320, military jets, Supermarine Spitfires, Hawker Hurricane, North American P-51D Mustang, Dehavilland Mosquito, B-29 Superfortress, Cessnas, Beechcraft variants, F-15, Starfighter and a whole host more.
Helicopters include Boeing CH-47, Chinook, Bell 206 JetRanger, Sikorsky S-58(H-34), Aérospatiale Alouette II, Eurocopter EC 135,
Westland Lynx WG13 and others.
You can also fly gliders, ornithopters, auto gyros and even a Zeppelin.
As a lifetime member you get full access to ALL the planes, helicopters and gliders included in the price, there are no upgrade costs. The product is continually being developed so you get access to any new features and aircraft as soon as they are made available.
The software has an easy windows launcher which allows you to select:
- Your aircraft
- The start airport and runway
- Time of day
- Current weather
- And many other environmental settings
Time of day is synchronized with real world time based on your system clock, so if the real time in Sydney Australia or London England is dawn, when you are in your virtual location of Sydney or London it is dawn in the simulator.
Controls:
- Joysticks and yokes are supported as are rudder pedals, you can also fly using just the keyboard.
- To get the most out of the simulator and the proper feeling of flight you would benefit from a joystick or yoke and rudder pedals.
- There is integrated joystick support, which automatically detects any joystick, yoke, or pedals attached. Change the settings or see what is connected easily by selecting Help -> Joystick Information from the in-game menu.
- You can also completely reprogram your flight controls and control response. The graphics and customization options are unlimited.
Airports:
- Over 20,000 real world airports are included in the full scenery set.
- Correct runway markings and placement, correct runway and approach lighting.
- Taxiways available for many larger airports (even including the green center line lights when appropriate.)
- Sloping runways (runways change elevation like they do in real life.)
- Directional airport lighting that smoothly changes intensity as your relative view direction changes.
Instruments:
- Realistically models real world instrument behavior.
- Instruments that lag in real life, lag correctly in this simulator, gyro drift is modeled correctly, the magnetic compass is subject to aircraft body forces…
- Instrument and system failures are also accurately recreated. If the vacuum system fails, the HSI gyros spin down slowly with a corresponding degradation in response as well as a slowly increasing bias/error.
- All those things that make real world flying a challenge are accurately recreated to create real life flying experience
