Nice tutorial!
You can actually do ATC interaction by voice, with “Multi Crew Experience”, rather than use the keyboard.
haha, I thought he said exactly the same thing!
Dixon Gillette should not be doing tutorial videos for FSX. I’ve watched all 33 of his “gems”, and when I managed to stop laughing it became clear that he is an idiot! I advise him stick to his 1976 Atari games.
how do i use radar and witch plane?
I thought ATIS stood for Automatic Terminal Information Service, am I correct?
Dicks In July xD
PLEASE READ: If i right click the screen and go to airtraffic, i select a plane to look at. (not multiplayer) So then i try to find the plane in the air but cant find it… how do i find a plane from the list?
You are correct.
Where I’ve flown where ATIS is required is usually at least Class C. For clearance delivery, they will usually make you listen to ATIS before giving you clearance, they’re too many people asking for clearance to go over ATIS information on the clearance frequency– so yes you should always note what information you have to the controller– departing or inbound.
u cannot radio other airplanes!
You do – if you are landing at an airport which does not have ATC you tune into a common frequency to announce your position e.g. ‘on final’.
This alerts other aircraft in the area to your intentions and in a sense is communicating with other aircraft.
but they dont radio u back!
In the real world you do not communicate with other aircraft directly.
You communication is largely with the tower if you are flying in uncontrolled airspace. At airfields with no tower an open frequency is used which all aircraft use to learn of other pilot’s intentions. As you fly a standard pattern and there are rules for which types of aircraft have precedence in the pattern there really is no need to communicate directly with other aircraft.
well u can tune to the aircrafts frequency!
Does anyone know how i can learn how to ATC in FSX? can someone please answer me i have been asking around for ages.

You have to have the Deluxe edition, and then you have to play multiplayer, when you select your airport, click the pilot and change it to air traffic controller.
U like fender guitars?
Oh and fsx is the best simulation ever. Shouldn’t be a matter of opinion
Thant is the disk space on the dvds. Installation takes at least 15 gigs

ñ
